It didn’t take long after the call came in from Cannonball Agency in St Louis for eszteranddavid, to realize this project was going to be big one! Cut to the chase and we were in it hook line and sinker to the tune of 65 automobiles and 85 talent, many playing duel roles. The Enterprise project consisted of a solid month long pre production process for us, including  location scouting, talent casting, scheduling, permitting, wardrobe fittings. etc, etc. Followed by an intense 10 day shoot and subsequent post production. Here’s a glimpse at some of the BTS.

Fitting day.

All hands on deck.

Everyone had  van it seemed.

Crew car.

Prep time.

Let the games begin.

Taking it to the streets.

Under cover.

Plating time.

Fast wheels.

Eszter in her zone. And that’s wrap.

Spent some time recently on a assignment for April Six Agency out of San Francisco. They threw out the exciting prospect of heading to Toronto, Canada for a week to create a series of environmental portraits for Cogeco/ Peer 1,  a managed cloud, hosting and IT services company servicing the globe. Of course we jumped at the opportunity before realizing that a blizzard was on course for Toronto and we’d be working through a snow storm!! Had a great couple of days with a great and collaborative crew. Below are some of the results including the massive banners and OOH executions currently running across the country.

Post shoot we had a little time down in Toronto and got to see a lot of what this amazing city had to offer. Look forward to getting back there soon.

Thanks to a great crew, agency and client.

At Edge Face-to-Face. What a great night!

Stock Exchange Tower, San Francisco

Eszter and I spent Monday evening on the 10th floor of the San Francisco Stock Exchange Tower showcasing our work, along with an amazing array of AtEdge photographers to the best creatives and art buyers the bay area has in our third invitation to Face to Face. As usual it was an impeccably presented night by our good friends at AtEdge, a great line up of industry creatives and art buyers, a free flowing bar and more food than could be consumed.

To Glen Serbin, Susan Baraz and Elizabeth Owen a big thank you. To fellow photographers out there thinking about becoming apart of AtEdge we give them the highest thumbs up, the new Microview 43 has just mailed out and it is a thrill to be in it and see the quality of work out there in the industry today, alongside that the chance to have one on one meetings with the best creatives in the country makes it a very appealing party to belong to.

The At Edge event in Minneapolis took place last week and having just invested in a membership  I flew out there to represent the Eszter and David brand,  meeting our new rep Kim Knight, from Kim Knight Represents for a whirlwind tour of the ‘City of Lakes!’ With a wake up time of 4am on the way out and a stop-over in Phoenix (yes! ridiculous I know but it was a very late call to go!) I arrived just in time for the event and Kim and I high tailed it to Windows on Minnesota, on the 50th Floor of the Marquette Hotel in downtown Minneapolis to do our thing.

The event was beautifully produced: the view was spectacular, excellent food and drink flowed freely and our three meetings were a pleasure and, I would like to think, a success. We met with RANDY GERDA,  VP Assoc Creative Director at Campbell Mithun, CARMEN ROSELLES, Creative Resource Specialist at Periscope and SANDY BOSS FEBBO, Exec Art Producer at Carmichael LynchWhat makes this event so special is that everyone is relaxed, fed and ‘watered’ , the buyersand art directors are happy to be there, and you get to put a face to the name of  all those photographers who’s work you’ve admired for so long (via the dreaded name tag!)

Following the event we rounded off the day with an incredible dinner at The Bachelor Farmer with photo producer and all round NICE GUY Dave Lewis who shared his knowledge of the industry as well as some of his contacts with us, and pointed us in some interesting directions. Thanks Dave, a night I will never forget!! Seriously hope we get to work with your talent somewhere down the line!!
